2. What are cookies?

Third parties process data under their own policies when they act as independent controllers; when they act as our processors, they do so under contract.

6. Consent and control
On your first visit we show a compact notice with Change and OK. Strictly necessary cookies always remain on. You cannot turn off every category: at least one optional category (Functional, Analytics, or Marketing) must stay selected. OK saves your current selection; Change opens preferences so you can adjust optional categories before confirming.
You can clear site data / the cookie-consent key and reload to see the notice again, or contact us. Browser settings can still block cookies; blocking necessary cookies may prevent login or core features from working.
7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers offer "Do Not Track" signals. There is no uniform industry standard for responding to DNT. Where required by law (for example, certain U.S. state laws recognizing Global Privacy Control), we will honor qualifying opt-out preference signals for sale/sharing of personal information as defined by those laws.
